Asakusa Hozuki-Ichi Festival

Crowds gathering in the Kaminarimon

Friday evening, massive human traffic but yet we hardly bumped into other people or vice-verse. If this is the crowd in Holland, I probably will be crushed into sandwich. Also worth noticing, despite of the crowds, there is hardly any rubbish or liters on the pavement, people automatically put their liters to the designated rubbish bag.Hozuki- the ground cherry

Takoyaki - filled with pieces of chopped squid and/or shrimps

Normal Okonomi yaki

Osaka-Yaki - 200 yen each, quite tasty

Chicken chop
Banana dipped in chocolate and sprinkled with colors

Another store selling the even more creative options which perhaps only japanese can think of

This is a specialty from Hiroshima - okonomiyaki Hiroshima-fu

The stall owner mixing the schicimi (seven types of spices)
Some Korean small bite made of kimchi

Yakitory - assorted from the common vegetable to meat and to seafood such as scallop or abalone, cost around 500 yen

Pokemon shaped Japanese azuki filled biscuit.
