Kyoto Food: Soy Bean Fondue

Since we rented an apartment in Kyoto, we actually cooked and eating in quite often. Most of the nights, we made hot pot or fondue with the freshest ingredients that we could find in the supermarkets.

Here is one of the highlight, Soy bean soup base with some of the key ingredients.

(1) Literally called Kyo Ya-sai (2) The hotpot soup made of Soy bean (3) Hokkaido giant crab legs (4) Fresh oysters (a dozen costs under €2) (5) Salted Salmon (6) Fish head meat
