KeukenHof - Yearly Tulip Pilgrimage

KeukenHof means the garden of the kitchen. The spring bulbs form the core of Keukenhof. The name says it all: these bulbs bloom in spring. Keukenhof is therefore only open during this period. The other months are intended for maintenance activities at the park, and obviously for planting the bulbs, so that the colour and flowering splendour of the bulbs are at its fullest during the spring.
Keukenhof has been my yearly spring pilgrimage, although the last two years we have discovered how to enjoy the spring flowers without paying. Holland is most beautiful during the spring season, full of colours and full of splendour.
